My daughter started working with Lauren at a point when her school work hit a level of difficulty that she could no longer manage on her own. Diagnosed with dyslexia, she struggled with reading, spelling, and decoding. Lauren guided her through the Wilson Reading System at a consistent and manageable pace that led to a happier and more confident kid. Words were being spelled correctly, reading comprehension was less intimidating and amazingly she chose an extra language arts class as an elective! She even exceeded expectations on her PSATs. My daughter loved her sessions with Lauren, whose kind, compassionate and inquisitive qualities contributed to her positive experience. It doesn't hurt to have sweet, little Ozzy waiting to see you either.

I reached out to Lauren in May 2020 after I struggled being my son’s “teacher” during COVID lockdown. I knew we had some work cut out for us - as he completed his 2nd grade at our kitchen table in tears any time he had a reading assignment. We started working with Lauren during this time and it was one of the best decisions that I have ever made for my son. Lauren has been the most amazing resource for Matthew during the last 1.5 years. She is proactive, she hones in on exactly what he needs to work on and develop, she is always available to discuss what is going on in school and has been my go-to resource for advice. Lauren has worked with my son for well over a year. She is extremely knowledgeable of all of the literacy approaches and utilizes multiple techniques to best serve her students.
